I shared a picture on Twitter and Facebook last week about my latest Halloween decoration.  Miss K had a skeleton of her own.  She made a dress for her, painted it with orange paint and styled her with matching orange hair.  I think she did a good job.  What do you think?

I ran across this picture on Facebook yesterday and I’ve been drooling over it ever since.  I dream of having a space like this.  Right now my sewing space is the dining room.  I spread everything out on the table.  The bad part is it all must be picked up whether I’m finished or not.   I WILL have a creative space in my next home.  I’m keeping this pic for ideas.

I do! I do!  My kids turned me on to it and it really is a fun game.  My husband will even play every once in awhile (which is unheard of for him).  I like to play a few quick rounds when I need to clear my head.   Seems that Angry Birds is all the rage right now… with three great apps available for play including Angry Birds Rio and Rio the Movie coming out this Friday.

How would you like free Angry Birds crafts?  Check out FaveCrafts blog for 9 different craft ideas.  Several of these are great to work on with your kids.

If you haven’t tried any of the Angry birds apps, you can download them from iTunes or from Amazon’s Appstore for Android.

I love collecting finding sewing patterns.  Enjoy this list of 7 FREE sewing patterns.  I hope to start on a few of them myself.  I’ll be sure to post pictures of any finished projects.
