The weather is finally warming up around the country, plants are blooming and allergies are running out of control.  That can only mean one thing… Spring is in the air.  It also means that it’s time to get my nails in shape to show off.

If you are a Texas girl like I am, you have to check out OPI’s new Texas collection.  With names like “It’s Totally Fort Worth It” and “Houston We Have a Purple” how can you resist?  If you are a Longhorn fan, you’ll love “Ya’ll Come Back Ya Hear“!!

Metallic colors are also all the rave this Spring.  Zoya features two beautiful metallics in their collection, Trixie is a nice silver metallic and Freja is a darker grey metallic.  I personally love both of them.  Another great thing about this brand is all Zoya polish is formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and camphor free.

I love these Spring pastels as well.

Now you just have to decide which color you want and make that appointment at the salon.

  1. going to get my nails done tomorrow (the second time in a month and also i the last 6 years lol) I am seriously thinking about the light blue. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do orange though. It’s just not a color I ever wear.

Thanks for stopping by Lisa. I also love the blue and have found a lilac color that I love. I really couldn’t pull the orange either. It is WAY too bright for my taste. My 9 year old daughter on the other hand loves it. 🙂

  2. Pretty colors! I love color names on nail polishes and paint cans…they are always so creative!
